Pro-life group unveils new healing initiative for victims of abortion fallout
It's not just a child and a mother who are devastated by abortion.
Priests for Life and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign yesterday held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. announcing the unveiling of "Healing the Shockwaves of Abortion," a new initiative to reach out to those affected by the killing of children in the womb.
The group of speakers comprised Janet Morana, executive director of Priests for Life; Georgette Forney, president of Anglicans for Life; Dr. Alveda King, director of African-American outreach for Priests for Life and niece of Martin Luther King, Jr.; Kevin Burke, co-founder of post-abortion healing ministry Rachel's Vineyard; Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life; and Arina Grossu, director of the Center for Human Dignity at the Family Research Council.
