Ted Nugent to attend State of the Union
About 20 survivors of gun violence will be in the gallery when President Obama delivers his State of the Union speech. The historian of the House tells USA today that the packing of the gallery with guests advocating one specific issue is "unprecendented."
It's a blatant appeal to emotionalism and an attempt to portray gun rights advocates as heartless beasts. So be it. To counter the tragic stories represented by the victims, Rep. Steve Stockman has invited Second Amendment fire breather and champion Ted Nugent.

While other members of Congress are hosting gun-control advocates for Tuesday's State of the Union address, Rep. Steve Stockman has given one of his visitor's gallery tickets to Ted Nugent, the conservative gun-rights supporter.
