Drums Along the Potomac

Watching the events of last week online I’m reminded of Drums Along the Mohawk a story about a couple in New York’s Mohawk Valley during the Revolutionary War. The New York frontier settlers fought off Tories, Indians, the British with a small militia, muskets, and grit until peace was restored and they could return to farming. A revolutionary war is being fought again in New York and D.C., this time between the administration’s corrupted Department of Justice, the compliant press and the Democratic Party on one hand, and the New York Police Department, the U.S. Attorney Preet Bahara, and the FBI on the other.
