Which species of animal is the most intelligent?
Most people believe that humans are the most intelligent of all animals because we supposedly can do complex reasoning and use our brains to solve complex problems.
Some people think that the main differences between humans other animal species is our ability of complex reasoning, our use of complex language, our ability to solve difficult problems, and introspection (this means describing your own thoughts and feelings). Others also feel that the ability for creativity or the feeling of joy or sorrow is uniquely human. Humans have a highly developed brain that allows us to do many of these things.
It appears that wolf spiders are great dance creators, who use intricate dance moves to attract female spiders to mate.
Male wolf spiders (Schizocosa stridulans) that improvise intricate dance moves are big winners in the mating game, wooing females with showstopping tap routines. Now, new research finds that the more complex the dance, the more likely the spiders are to find love.
Male lightning bugs use specific flashing patterns to attract females. Females will respond with specific flashes if they are interested.
Flashes are the firefly language of love. Fireflies use flashes as mating signals. The flashes that you see in your yard are generally from males looking for females. They flash a specific pattern while they fly, hoping for a female reply. If a female waiting in the grass or bushes likes what she sees, she responds back with a flash of her own. They will engage in this twinkling "conversation" until the male locates the female and they mate. Each species has its own pattern—a code that lets individuals identify appropriate mates of the same species.
The Democrat version of the human animal species today seems to have difficulty identifying females, even though fireflies and wolf spiders don't seem to have that difficulty. Somehow, insects and spiders have the ability even though they haven't been to college and are not scientists. Maybe the newest Supreme Court justice could learn from them.
The MAGA Republican version of the human animal species today seem to have no trouble determining who the female animals are and who can have and feed their babies.
The Democrat version of our species appear to be regressing rapidly when they have more trouble identifying females than spiders and lightning bugs. They should certainly stop pretending their policies are progressive and they are the party of science.
Isn't God amazing?
