Jordan Peterson exploits leftist weaknesses to stymie protesters
One of the things that leftists do best is to harness the power of the mob. On the streets, they use it to intimidate people and, on campuses, they use it to silence speakers with whom they disagree. Jordan Peterson, though, has figured out one of the leftists’ primary weaknesses and uses it to silence them!
Ever since the Ferguson lie (“hands up don’t shoot”), we’ve seen leftists showing up en masse on America’s streets to protest some injustice or another. They rioted across America when George Floyd died from massive illegal drug ingestion. They burned down Kenosha when the police stopped an armed Jacob Blake from kidnapping children. And, along the way, some of them like to show their rage by looting and burning.
What’s just as destructive is the way leftists use the howling mob to silence speakers, especially on college campuses. Here are just a few examples of the various mob moments leftists have successfully used over the years to shut down or mute any ideas with which they disagree:
As I said, the above is just a short list. Similar scenes are repeated across America as protesters try desperately to prevent conservatives from having a say on campuses that were once homes to intellectual liberty.
Naturally, Jordan Peterson, who was one of the first to take a firm stand against transgender madness, has come in for his fair share of protests intended to silence him. Here’s a campus protest from 2018 in his native Canada:
Peterson, though, is smarter than the protesters. Just as importantly, he’s an original, out-of-the-box thinker. That’s why he was able to come up with a brilliant way to end protests at his speeches. (Hat tip: RedState.)

As the fight over Twitter demonstrates, the biggest battle in America today is over free speech—and the left will do anything to ensure that the only speech freely allowed is its own. That’s why it requires both courage and guile to make sure that conservative ideas are still part of the intellectual free market. More of this, please.
