Frankly, I had to check this story to make sure it was not out of the incomparable Babylon Bee, the satire newspaper. 

So here is the story: 

The sons of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, known as "Los Chapitos," imposed a "curfew" on the inhabitants of the city of Culiacán, state capital of Sinaloa, due to the coronavirus contingency and threatened to "sanction" those who do not comply with the measure.

Through several videos circulating on social networks, the men of Iván Archivaldo Guzmán and Jesús Alfredo, roam the streets of Culiacán aboard vehicles and heavily armed, to supervise that people remain in their homes.

Yes, "Los Chapitos" will enforce the curfew.  We also understand that the "ladies of the narcos" are distributing medical packages, such as hand sanitizer and reminders to wash your hands.  The cartel version of a Good Neighbor Policy, or something like that.

On one hand, we are grateful that someone is taking the coronavirus seriously south of the border.  I say "someone" because President López-Obrador does not seem to be.

On a larger point, where are the police and Mexican Army?  How is President López-Obrador allowing a cartel to occupy a city the size of Culiacán, with a metropolitan population of 900,000?
