Georgia state rep. Vernon Jones, a Democrat, has just resigned from his office.  He said he is "leaving the plantation."  Why?  Because he expressed his support for President Trump.  He believed that Trump's policies have benefited blacks, including Trump's support for black colleges and prison reform.  He was even brave enough to express the truth that it is Joe Biden who has long supported racist policies.

What did he get for his courage and honesty?  Vicious harassment by his fellow Democrats.  So he has stepped down.

The left does not tolerate straying from the prescribed ideological position of the party; leftists are Maoist, Stalinist in every way.  Intolerance is their decree.  Deviate from the party line?  Expect personal destruction.  That is how the left rolls.  It is the left's way or no way.  How else can we explain Pelosi's dragging out impeachment as she did, and dragging out the relief bill for small businesses in the wake of the economic lockdown?  Pelosi wants what she wants when she wants it and couldn't care less for the millions of Americans devastated by her intransigence.  Her fellow authoritarians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are ecstatic at the current state of affairs.  They are celebrating the loss of 22 million jobs.

These people are not only intolerant, but barbaric.  They actually believe, and so operate according to their creed, that their political power depends on human misery.  The more misery then can create, the more power they can procure and use to control us all.  Sabotage the economy?  It's all to the good.  It should be clearer to all Americans by now that the left is the most dangerous enemy of America.  Obama set out to transform the U.S. as founded.  The furious left of today has lost all sense of reason.  Leftists love the virus.  They see it as their path to absolute power.

The Democratic Party of today is a mess.  Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrats' "thought leader," as the media so lovingly refer to her, is more ignorant of basic facts than a fifth-grader from the days when American students were taught American history and basic economics.  She is now advising those who have lost their jobs to never return to work.  This is a woman who needs remedial education in every subject, who was elected with 15,000 votes and presumes to think she knows how to run the country.  She should have been dismissed by her party for obvious reasons.  But the media and her colleagues pretend she knows what she is talking about. 

Then there is Ayanna Presley and her newly shaved head and three pounds of false eyelashes lecturing us all about Trump's handling of this pandemic as "war crimes."  Oh, and the virus is racist or something.  There is no accounting for such muddled reasoning.  Some of the older folks in the media surely know that the left's accusations are all bunk but are afraid to challenge the status quo.  The younger ones have simply been poorly educated.  They know absolutely nothing true about American history.  They have been effectively indoctrinated by the hate-America tenured radicals who took over academia in the 1960s.  Our universities have become ground zero of political intolerance.

So we are now saddled with Democrat governors like California's Gavin Newsom, Michigan's Gretchen Whitmer, New Jersey's Phil Murphy, and their ilk, who actually believe themselves to have the power of tyranny over the citizens of their states. 

Millions of formerly Democrat voters have to be waking up to what they have supported for decades: the authoritarianism of Orwell's 1984.  The left is so flummoxed by Trump's election and the successes of his administration that it has lost its grounding.

For three years, leftists have called him a dictator.  Now they are angry that he is leaving the re-opening of the states' economies up to the governors.  Why isn't he shutting down every state? they ask.  Because he is abiding by the Constitution as he has from day one.  The best thing about the Trump presidency is how it has exposed the sheer moonbattery and blatant hypocrisy of the Democrat party and our malevolent media.  One has only to watch a few minutes of the daily briefings on the virus crisis to see that nearly all of them are hoping for the worst: continued deaths and the complete destruction of the economy.  As of Saturday, they are truly threatened by the undoing of the lockdown.  They do not want the economy of the nation to be free again.  That is how intolerant they are of Trump and how much damage they are willing to do to see him defeated.

If there is a person on the planet that thought the Democratic Party gives a damn about the American people, that notion has been obliterated. With Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff and AOC as their intellectual gurus, this party has destroyed itself, revealed its degeneracy. They are using every trick in their playbook to use this virus to destroy Trump and their tricks are all lies, fake news. He was the only one on the case, even before any of the left media. Even the sainted Dr. Anthony Fauci was downplaying the virus at the end of February. But the left has agreed to spin the lie that Trump was slow in responding to this pandemic when in fact he was ahead of the game, banned flights from China when even Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx argued against that step. To this day, the left embraces and is committed to that lie. 

This president, recognized as the best in many of our lifetimes, cannot be tolerated by the left because he is willing to stand up to the corruption that characterizes the D.C. establishment, to China, to our bloated bureaucracy and the criminality that was shot through all of our law enforcement institutions. They have and will continue to go to any lengths to see him defeated. It is this corrupt, amoral left that must be defeated.
