Christine Pelosi angers Twitter
Like mother, like daughter. Now that phrase can conjure up cute images of an older and younger duo dressed in matching outfits or the youngster imitating Mom's walk. But if Mom is not so nice and the daughter admires and imitates the unpleasantness, well, the result is not so cute. Sadly, this appears to be the case with Christine Pelosi (D-rich mean girl), the daughter of Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-mean rich San Francisco), the first grandmother to serve as speaker of the House.
Immediately after learning that Rep Rand Paul (R-Ky.) had tested positive for Wuhan Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), young Pelosi sent forth this gleefully repellent tweet: "Rand Paul's neighbor was right."
She means that Paul's Democratic neighbor "was right" to inflict a vicious, unprovoked beating on Paul, breaking six of his ribs plus additional injuries.
Oh.
Clicking directly on Christine's tweet last night , I was surprisingly greeted with this:
This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules. Learn more
Oh?!
I learned that apparently the critical comments that followed the tweet, both on her feed and on other platforms, prompted an anonymous Twitter decider to read it and then remove it because
Violence: You may not threaten violence against an individual or a group of people. We also prohibit the glorification of violence. Learn more about our violent threat and glorification of violence policies.
Yes, dutiful Democrat daughter Christine Pelosi glorified violence in this instance; apparently, she approves of it.
Christine Pelosi's Twitter profile.
Undaunted by her tweet's absence, she continued tweeting in a similar, though ostensibly less violence-glorifying vein — admiring her mommy's attempts to hijack the economic relief bill plus her other actions interspersed with nasty, contemptuous snippets against Republicans.
Like mother, like daughter.
