Another Victory: Trump cures the That-Time-Of-Year syndrome afflicting leftist women
President Donald J. Trump's (R) string of unlikely successes continues. Ending a week in which he signed a couldn't-be-done-trade treaty with China that unlike previous agreements with that country is much fairer to the U.S. and enjoying the thanks from oppressed Iranians rejoicing at the U.S. action that killed their evil military commander, the non-partisan Trump apparently has discovered a cure for the dreaded "that time of the year" syndrome that afflicts many liberal women of the liberal/left persuasion plus their devoted male followers whether biological or "transgender."
First noted after the surprising--to them--election of President Donald J. Trump (R) in November, 2016 when reports surfaced of many liberals, especially women, exhibiting deep depression, raging fits of anger and denial of reality, believers in the American way of democracy were puzzled. After all, following Barack Hussein Obama (D) election victories in 2008 and 2012, disappointed Republicans of both genders and many backgrounds accepted the results, learned to live with it, and expressed their opposition legally. The only illegality in fact, came from the Obama administration, which lawlessly spied on the Tea Parties and inconvenient reporters such as then-CBS correspondent Sharyl Attkisson. There also were no mass instances of John McCain (R) or Mitt Romney (R) fans, male or female, having hissy fits as occurred after the post-Trump victory.
Thinking they would find some relief for their pain by joining others similarly suffering, hundreds of thousands of women gathered in Washington D.C. and other cities, large and small, across the nation on Jan. 21, 2017, the day after Trump's inauguration as president of the United States of America, in a so-called Women's March organized by certified bigots Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, among others, to collectively howl. Indicative of their pathology -- or more likely reflecting it -- the gathered were, at best, indifferent, but more in agreement with the anti-Jewish hostility, anti working class hostility, anti middle America hostility, anti white ethnic America hostility, as expressed by the organizers and many of the speakers. Again, indicative of their pathology but again more likely reflecting it, many of the march's attendees wore so-called pussy hats, pink knitted headgear symbolizing women's genital areas, thus reducing women to only that section of their anatomy. And, of course, discriminating against trans-women who aren't so equipped by nature. Or something.
Slightly mollified but remaining unhappy and disconnected after this initial group primal scream, the women -- and their male sympathizers -- returned home where their anger festered, increasing in the following months until another bizarre ritual group gathering repeated the following January, 2018; the cycle continued in January 2019.
Meanwhile, under Trump's presidency the economy soared with low inflation, low unemployment, including near record-low unemployment of women, including record-low unemployment of of minorities including women "of color" and low mortgage rates. So, when "that time of the year" for liberal discontented women rolled around yesterday, attendance at the women's anti-Trump temper tantrum around the country was significantly lower than previous years. Desperate to boost attendance, organizers injected additional issues to this year's annual professional victim women event.
The D.C. march focused on a smaller slate of issues, shifting away from its original 10-point program into three central themes: reproductive rights, immigration and climate change. Similarly, Chicago's Women's March featured a "gallery of issues," highlighting voting, the census, climate justice, gun violence prevention and women's health.
And so, around the country, the hard core liberal sufferers showed up, reveling in their misery loves company misery.
In New York City, activists battled the cold and snow as they marched along the edge of Central park and down Sixth Avenue.
“This sense of community is life-changing,” said marcher Belinda Jones of West Connecticut. “This is joyous.”
But thousands of other women, thrilled that their "time of the year" discomfort had significantly eased, enjoyed the day in comfort, some even thanking Trump.
Liberal doctors are still baffled; unable to explain the cure. Trump supporters just smile.
