When doing radio commentary out of New York City, the legendary Bob Grant would often say on his program, "It's sick out there and getting sicker." If only he knew how true his words were.
News out of Manila is that 25-year-old Angela Ponce has just been crowned Miss Universe-Spain and will represent the Philippines in the 2018 Miss Universe pageant. There were no reported protests, but rather celebrations as this unprecedented crowning came in during the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community's Pride Month. This smells like an engineered coincidence to me. And in case you're wondering, the Miss Universe Organization has been on board with allowing trannies to compete since 2012. Who knew?
