Why isn’t Trump driving home these points?
Donald Trump is failing to hammer a number of points that could badly hurt Hillary while boosting his own campaign, each one a win/win proposition.
- Hillary Clinton declared, “Don’t let anyone tell you it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.” Every time the word “job” comes up in the discussion, Trump must refer to this idiotic declaration by Hillary.
- On immigration, Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union speech laid out, almost to a tee, the current immigration policy and attitude of one Donald Trump. In each instance of immigration being discussed, Trump must refer to Bill Clinton’s speech and question why what was once heralded and applauded is now derided.
- NAFTA, her husband’s signature trade agreement, prompted the exit of U.S. manufacturing and loss of jobs.
- Regarding the three previous points, Trump must connect all with the loss of job opportunities for legal American citizens.
- Hillary’s closest confidants are suspect.
- Huma Abedin, Hillary’s close confidante and assistant at the State Department, has a family history of Muslim activism and connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
- Cheryl Mills acted for the Clinton Foundation while in position of authority in the State Department, as did Huma Abedin.
- Hillary destroyed official government documents after they had been subpoenaed by Congress. Her underlings refuse to appear before Congress and choose to plead the 5th Amendment when questioned.
There are more points seemingly overlooked by Trump. It would be a good exercise for the American Thinker readers and contributors to add to this list and hopefully contribute to the Trump effort. Maybe his team will work from our list.
