Trump Running Against Crooked Media Supporting Crooked Hillary
Yestereday, at a rally in Connecticut, Trump said, "I'm not running against crooked Hillary, I'm running against the crooked media.”
Trump has the knack for focusing on and stating the issue.
For example, on illegal immigration he said the obvious which is to build a wall on the southern border and to enforce our immigration laws. On terrorism, he said we have to temporarily suspend immigration from Muslim countries. On the economy, he said we have to cut tax rates and reduce the regulations. On “free trade,” he said we have to review each trade deal so that American made goods can compete in our country with foreign made goods. And on Hillary, he summed up her career and character as “Crooked Hillary.” What else is there to say about Hillary once you say “Crooked Hillary.”
Now he said that he is running against the media which he termed the Crooked Media. Again, what else is there to say about the media?
There is no question the mainstream media (MSM) represented by ABC, CBS, NBC, the NY Times, the Washington Post, etc. is the organ of the Democrat Party, reminiscent of the Soviet Tass and Pravda.
But this year, much of the so-called conservative media, represented by National Review, WSJ, and many writers, represented by George Will, on conservative websites, have joined the MSM to attack Trump daily.
We expected the MSM to directly shill for Hillary.
But why is the Conservative Media (CM) attacking Trump which only helps Hillary? Whether Trump is a conservative or not, he clearly is running on conservative principles such as reducing taxes, reducing regulations, enforcing the border and immigration laws, supporting the Second Amendment, promising to appoint conservative limited government judges to the Supreme Court, and many other conservative issues.
It seems the Conservative Media is more comfortable with Hillary, even though they know she is lying crook. They just do not like Trump’s personality. He is a successful businessman, brash, speaks his mind, and won the primaries and nomination despite the opposition of the MSM and CM.
Maybe they do not like being proven wrong, and having their political opinions ignored by the voters.?
Seems that the MSM and CM are afraid that Trump has made them irrelevant.
