Liberals flout the law while media remains silent
This past weekend, a mother of four was shot to death while walking her children home from school on the south side of Chicago. Sadly, we would not have known about this if she had not been a cousin of NBA star Dwayne Wade. After all, we certainly don’t hear much about the over 460 people who have been murdered in Chicago so far this year.
She was killed by two lifelong criminal gang members who were out on parole for the attempted murder of an Uber driver. What a surprise that career criminals would kill someone else.
And the story this weekend is not that some judge let these dangerous criminals roam the streets. Nope. The story is that Donald Trump tweeted a politicized message about how the streets of the inner cities are dangerous. Hillary has actually called Trump a racist and bigot for saying people can be shot walking down the streets in the cities.
The Chicago Police are required to fill out forms whenever they stop someone. This has caused police to greatly reduce the number of stops. Has that made the streets safer? Police departments around the country are demonized if they happen to stop minorities at a higher rate than whites. It really makes no difference to the Justice Department how much they demonize police, nor do they care who actually commits the crimes.
Isn’t it rich that the media and Democrats accuse someone of politicizing deaths? The Democrats trot out mothers of people killed by police at their convention, and they trot out Muslim Gold Star parents. They did not bring out mothers of minorities killed by other minorities, did not bring out Gold Star parents of people killed by Islamic extremists, did not bring out Gold Star parents of Benghazi victims, did not bring out mothers of cops killed, and did not bring out parents of people killed by illegal immigrants.
We also know that the media and Democrats politicized the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. They pushed the fictitious “hands up, don’t shoot” story that contributed greatly to the Black Lives Matter movement that has caused violence throughout the country and deaths and violence to police officers.
We also know how they politicized the death of Trayvon Martin. He was killed by a “white Hispanic.” Obama said Martin could have been his son. NBC doctored a 911 call to make it look as though it had been a racist killing by George Zimmerman.
Facts haven’t mattered to the media or Obama for a long time. They have an agenda, and facts just get in the way. It is absolutely despicable that a network would intentionally seek to destroy an individual like that.
There was also a double-murder in Mississippi this weekend. A career criminal stabbed to death two nuns. I guess if it were a Trump supporter who shot two of them with a gun, the media might have covered it more than a few seconds. Why was the career criminal on the streets? Could it be that the Justice Department complains that sentences are too long?
Then there was a fatal bus accident in Louisiana this weekend where an undocumented illegal was driving a busload of illegals. That obviously didn’t fit the agenda, either. There is never much coverage when illegals kill people, which happens frequently. Those stories just don’t fit in with Obama’s and Hillary’s policies.
Here are a few questions for Obama and Hillary that the compliant media won’t ask:
Why doesn’t the Justice Department concentrate on keeping gang members off the streets instead of spending so much time going after the police? Are the streets of the inner cities dangerous?
Why is it OK for sanctuary cities to ignore the laws of the land when it comes to immigration? What other laws can they ignore?
Is it OK for the federal government to not enforce immigration laws?
Is it OK for a president to unilaterally change or make immigration laws when Congress won’t do what he wants? Why does the media spend so much time on Trump on immigration and so little on Hillary? At least Trump makes himself available to the media. Hillary is in a cocoon.
Why is Houston so much safer than Chicago even though their gun laws are much more lenient and there is so much more availability?
In 2016, the media, the State Department, the White House, the Justice Department, and the IRS are essentially shilling for Hillary instead of working for the American people. Hopefully the American people will rise up to protect our freedoms.
It also doesn’t matter that it is Trump. The media also demonized Reagan, Bush, McCain, and Romney. Anyone with an R behind his name is ripe for derision. The New York Times endorsed McCain in the 2008 primary, and as soon as Romney was out, they ran a false story about a McCain affair. We also remember the Rather story based on forged documents on Bush.
The media should be ashamed for reporting based on an agenda and support for a candidate instead of holding the feet of the powerful to the fire no matter which party they are in.
