Hillary’s judgment
How do we explain the poor choices made by Hillary Clinton and her right-hand staffer, Huma Abedin? These two women, much more gifted than ordinary earthlings according to the mainstream media – each chose a mate who regularly humiliated her, personally and publicly. Hillary stayed with Bill, no matter how cruelly he abused her by cheating without discretion; she expected, still expects, payback.
As for Huma, it is a mystery that she ever married such a disturbed and perverted man. Was the marriage a sham? Perhaps. She's leaving now, but why did she wait so long? Both women have exhibited very poor judgment, as did the men they chose to marry by behaving like the cads they are. How can we trust women with such disastrous judgment to run the country (Huma never leaves Hillary's side)?
Hillary's whole life in the public eye is characterized by poor judgment, from early days in Arkansas to the present. She set out to use the Clinton Foundation as a get-very-rich scheme, especially once she became secretary of state. She used a private, off-site server to conceal her machinations from any government oversight. Some of what was received and sent from her unsecured account we now know was classified top secret. Some of those emails to and from Huma are so top secret that the "released" versions are completely redacted. She "Bleach Bit" those emails she wanted never to see the light of day.
The invasion of Libya was Hillary's baby, conceived and planned with Sidney Blumenthal, her co-conspirator, who was not an official employee of the State Department but is Hillary's Rasputin. The invasion was, as everyone knows now, a catastrophic error in judgment. Gaddafi was no longer a threat, and Libya is now a failed state partially under ISIS control. And once it all went horribly wrong, someone at State decided to funnel Gaddafi's weapons to the Syrian rebels, from the Benghazi CIA annex. Hillary? That we do not know. This may well be another example of her unfortunate judgment.
Hillary ignored repeated requests for increased security in Benghazi, and as a result, four Americans were killed, and no rescue attempt was made. In fact, the brave men prepared to do so were made to stand down. Then the ultimate insult was added to the ultimate injury when she lied to the families of those killed while standing by their caskets. This is beyond poor judgment; it is pathological self-indulgence. Hillary views her power and position as above the lives of mere mortals. She is pathologically devoid of empathy, sympathy. And she believes herself qualified to be president!
Poor judgment is the scourge of humanity. It complicates our daily lives, love lives, family lives, work lives, our economy, our politics. Most relationship problems are the result of bad judgment; most foreign policy disasters are as well. Obama's decision to announce and then fulfill his leaving date from Iraq was the poorest judgment of all; it gave us ISIS, genocide, millions of refugees, a Middle East in barbaric chaos, etc. Let's not repeat past electoral mistakes and put a woman known for a lifetime of poor judgment in the Oval Office.
Our children need to be taught to have good judgment, to trust their better instincts, and they need to recognize poor judgment in others when they see it. Hillary Clinton is the poster woman of poor judgment. Teach your children to recognize public persons who lack this crucial trait and to vote against them. They do need to be taught a code to live by: a law-abiding, democratic, constitutional, patriotic, Golden Rule code that engenders good judgment and helps them be responsible voters.
