First national Blue Lives Matter Celebration gaining momentum
Bishop T.D. Jakes preached a sermon titled "Things you learn along the way." Since deciding to produce a Blue Lives Matter Celebration event honoring America's police, I am learning several things along the way.
Given the left's demonic politically self-serving attack on our nation's police, I assumed that many more Americans would rally behind my obvious positive event. I was stunned when some law enforcement and conservatives shied away.
However, God had a ram in the bush. You have to read the Bible story to get my point. Anyway, unexpectedly good people came out of the woodwork to help and support the celebration. Fundraising has been challenging. We are still far away from our goal of $10,000 to produce the show. If I have to scale the production down to standing on stage and yelling at the audience through a bullhorn, this event will happen – Saturday, September 10, 11am-2am, Ocean Convention Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. I am exaggerating a bit, but you get my point.
Featured guests include Heather Mac Donald, author of The War on Cops: How the New Attack on Law and Order Makes Everyone Less Safe. Hearing Heather's interview on Rush Limbaugh's radio show is what stirred my heart and soul to host a celebration event for our nation's brave men and women in blue.
Suddenly, more and more people are saying, "Lloyd, you should take these Blue Lives Matter Celebrations nationwide, touring the country." I love the idea. But let's get this first event under our belt.
Folks, as I stated during a recent radio interview, I as if I am living in a bizarro world, where everything is upside-down. Evil billionaire George Soros hates America. Thus, I can understand why he would sponsor Black Lives Matter with $33 million to cause chaos in our streets.
But why on Earth would The Ford Foundation pledge $100 million to the unapologetic racist hate group? Keep in mind that on numerous occasions, caught on video, BLM have boldly and publicly instructed their minions to kill cops and white people. How in a sane, rational world can The Ford Foundation justify sponsoring BLM?
A radio show co-host said he has a "Police Lives Matter" bumper sticker on his car. A motorcycle cop drove by and gave him a thumbs-up of appreciation. That is what I am talking about, folks. This event will be a well deserved love letter to our nation's brave men and women in blue.
Wild Bill for America and I did an under-two-minute video together for the Blue Lives Matter Celebration. Here's the link. I am the black guy wearing the Blue Lives Matter t-shirt.
And last, but not least, please do not make me sing through a bullhorn.
