Media hypocrisy on Trump rally hard to stomach
It has been publicly documented that Occupy Wall Street-type protesters influenced by MoveOn.org, a group inspired by domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and similar friends of fundamental transformer Barack Obama, purposefully targeted Donald Trump's Chicago rally with intent to incite violence and create chaos.
On cue, major media networks, the DNC (redundant, I know), and GOP "elites" desperate to preserve the status quo of "Think Tank Life" seem motivated to stereotype Donald Trump and his voters as "the problem." Before our very eyes, we are witnessing "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" philosophy writ large. Strange bedfellows, indeed, when liberals, progressives, #BlackLivesMatter crazies, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich unite to defeat their arch-enemy: Donald Trump. Or is their enemy we?
Recall that just last weekend, many of the wealthiest and most politically powerful people on earth convened at "World Forum" in Sea Island, Georgia, to collaborate on how to deny the will of the American voter. Within a week, the evidence of their collaborative tactics are emerging:
1) Instigate public scenes of chaos.
2) Blame Trump.
3) Stereotype, shame Trump supporters.
4) Keep borders open, benefits flowing.
5) Repeat.
This choreography will not only continue, but escalate. It rests upon an "ends justify the means" strategy. And it sickens me.
As quoted in the Wall Street Journal in 2008, "[m]obster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?
That's exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks. "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun," Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser one Friday night. "Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. I've seen Eagles fans."
Media "outrage" over Donald Trump's words illustrates media hypocrisy at its worst. The more the media persecutes Donald Trump, the more he becomes a martyr in the eyes of voters.
