Obama and religious symbols as backdrop for a speech

Every time President Obama turns around, we get yet another example of his duplicity.

Curious, isn’t it, that when the POTUS visits a mosque the religious trappings behind him were not covered (note the picture here) as they were when he spoke at Georgetown University.

The excuse offered then was:

The White House wanted a simple backdrop... consistent with what they've done for other policy speeches.

I imagine the excuse offered this time will be,

This was not a policy speech!

Also, inquiring minds want to know where the anti-faith warriors like the Freedom From Religion Foundation are now? Aren’t their hearts aflutter after seeing vestiges of faith that offend their very being?

I also like how el Jefe admonished Christians when he said yesterday:

If we’re serious about freedom of religion – and I’m speaking now to my fellow Christians, who remain the majority in this country – we have to understand, an attack on one faith is an attack on all our faiths.

Does this statement excuse the Muslims for any acts of violence against Christians or Jews simply because they are a minority in this country. How about in those countries where Muslims are a majority, does it apply to them for stoning, beheading, burning, folding, bending, stapling, and generally mutilating Christians?

BTW, hate-crimes against religious minorities in America is more prevalent against Jews than it is Muslims as seen in the graphic below.
