A transvestite pretending to be a woman was briefly detained by the TSA when they found something suspicious on his body scan.

The transgender woman, Shadi Petosky, said Tuesday in an interview that T.S.A. officers at Orlando International Airport calibrated the full-body scanner for a woman, and the device flagged what officers called an “anomaly” in the groin area.

I would say there was something "shady" about Shadi's groin area, an "anomaly" that could easily have been explained if Shadi hadn't been trying to pass as a woman.  The TSA is trained to look for imposters and people hiding things, and if you're trying to hide your gender, that's going to throw up a red flag.

Shadi missed his flight and had to take another, and because of this, it became a national news story, complete with photos of Shadi having a good cry on Twitter.

He live-tweeted the sheer torture of being detained for 40 whole minutes:

I am being held by the TSA in Orlando because of an "anomaly" (my penis)

That's right.  When a man dresses up as a woman, guess what people are surprised to find he has!

I asked TSA agent Bramlet if he had any training in trans issues. He said "I know what I am doing"

That's right.  The TSA shouldn't be trained to give imposters a free pass.  That's what they're supposed to do: to uncover people hiding things.  Mentally ill people like this one can be unstable; they can easily be a flight risk.

Cop asked me what sex I was. I told him I wasn't going to answer that question.

Why wouldn't he answer the question?  Does he really not know the answer?  Or is he in such denial because of his mental illness?

I guess everyone knows about my junk now. 99% sure I'll regret this tomorrow.

He's a man pretending to be a woman.  Why wouldn't he be surprised when he is discovered and gets this kind of attention?

If Shadi is crying, it is because he is a messed up, mentally ill man dressed as a woman who is so deluded that he believes that society has to enable his fantasies.  If he doesn't want people to discover he has a penis, he should stay out of women's locker rooms and stop pretending to be a woman when he gets on planes.  I think the TSA did a public service.
