Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan has worked himself into a high dudgeon over Europe’s failure to adequately handle the Muslim refugees arriving on its shores. Tom McTague of the UK Daily Mail:

European leaders were today accused of turning the Mediterranean into a 'cemetery for refugees' after the bodies of two young Syrian boys washed up on a Turkish beach.

Turkey's president Tayyip Erdogan said EU countries 'shared the sin for every refugee who loses their life' trying to escape the Middle East for Europe. 

Mr Erdogan's intervention came as splits emerged over an emergency Brussels plan to relocate 160,000 refugees around the Continent in a bid to ease the burden on Germany and a handful of other countries.

I am sorry but this is disgusting. We endlessly hear about “The Muslim world” and the “Organization of Islamic Cooperation.” We hear that Muslims tithe a tenth of their incomes to charity. We hear that Muslim countries asset the right to make Islam superior to other religions – or in the case of Saudi Arabia, a monopoly (try bringing a bible into Saudi and see what happens).

These refugees are a Muslim world problem. They are heart-rending, and largely innocent victims (there may well be terrorists among them).  But Europe already is experiencing serious problems  owing to the refusal of Muslim immigrants to assimilate, even creating Sharia-law areas of European cities where police fear to tread. The only reason refugees take to the Mediterranean is that adjacent Islamic countries won't take care of them.

I am sorry, but it is time to tell the Muslim world to take care of its own. Turkey already hosts a few million Syrian refugees, but it can handle more. It’s a big country. It can seek aid from ultra-wealthy oil producers like Saudi Arabia (see above) or the Emirates.

All of the people causing the problems of the refugees are Muslims. The Islamic world plays hardball over issues it cares about. Time for them to care for their own victims.
