With homosexual and transgender issues always at the forefront, whether we like it or not, it's a relief to know that now your kids will have a gender-fluid option for this coming Halloween:

Halloween probably isn’t the best time to deal with an incredibly sensitive subject like gender reassignment. But that hasn’t deterred a major company from conjuring up a Caitlyn Jenner costume in time for Oct. 31. Spirit Halloween, the company behind the pop-up costume stores that appear all over the city every fall, has exclusively confirmed to Confidenti@l that it will be carrying the insensitive getup this year.

This has liberals outraged:

Vincent Villano of the National Center for Transgender Equality expressed his concerns. 

"There's no tasteful way to 'celebrate' Caitlyn Jenner or respect transgender people this way on the one night of the year when people use their most twisted imaginations to pretend to be villains and monsters," he said in a statement to HuffPost on Friday. 

Why are liberals so upset?  They like to push "transgender" issues in our faces all the time.  They especially like to target children, so this is right up their alley.  After all, if a boy can at any time decide he "feels" like a girl, why can't boys "feel" like a girl for one night, on Halloween?  Isn't that the meaning of the term "gender fluid"?

If it is okay, even laudable, for Bruce Jenner to dress up in a costume like a girl, isn't it appropriate for boys and girls to dress up in costumes like Bruce Jenner?

Liberals can even view this as a teachable moment.  Boys wearing this costume can learn the joys of transgendering themselves for an evening.

But I am guessing that this is one sort of indoctrination that liberals don't want to expose their children to.  The "transgendered" must always be shown as brave, bold, heroic, and beautiful, and never as hideous, freakish, or a source of mental illness, as that would hit too close to the mark.

Exit question: If a boy wearing a Bruce Jenner Halloween costume is denied the right to enter a girl's bathroom, will he have a viable lawsuit?
