Does NBC stand for 'Nicaragua, Bolivia & Cocaine'?

NBC said it wouldn't air Donald Trump's Miss USA Pageant because Trump made derogatory comments about illegal aliens.

NBCUniversal, under pressure from an array of Hispanic groups, is severing its business ties to presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The Miss USA pageant, scheduled for July 12, will no longer air on the network. Nor will the Miss Universe pageant, scheduled for next January. Both pageants were, until now, jointly owned by NBC and Trump.

"At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values," the company said in a statement on Monday. "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump."

Donald Trump didn't say a word about immigrants.  He spoke about illegal aliens.  Doesn't NBC know the difference?  Immigrants request permission to enter the country, are vetted, and are admitted.  Illegal aliens break into the country, demand rights they don't have, and often commit crimes and go on welfare.  Why should NBC be upset that Trump criticized foreign trespassers?

And why isn't "respect and dignity" of citizens at the cornerstone of NBC's values?  If these are the cornerstones of their values, what does the building of their values look like?  An open-air drug market?  A pueblo where gangs roam around, with no citizenship, no boundaries, no law and order?

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best...They're sending people who have lots of problems," Trump said in the speech. "They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists, and some, I assume, are good people."

Perhaps NBC doesn't believe that the illegal aliens coming in are rapists and criminals, and thinks Trump has done the illegal aliens a disservice.  Or perhaps NBC doesn't mind drug dealers and rapists, in which case perhaps NBC really does stand for "Nicaragua, Bolivia & Cocaine."

Or perhaps NBC, given its low ratings, is thinking of switching to a Spanish language format.

Exit question: once Trump loses the nomination, and he goes back to being liberal and comparing himself to Democrats, do you think NBC will take him back?
