A friend in Saudi Arabia who must remain anonymous writes to me with a couple of telling little signs from Saudi cable TV  telling us the direction things are going in the Kingdom:

1.  A real shocker, at least for me.  Israeli news, i24 is now broadcast in the Kingdom in English.  The website is here and is Tel Aviv based.  Will wonders never cease?  Maybe a realization that the Israelis can help get the message out on the Iran deal?

2. The GCC military is going full bore on recruiting for the military, and showing off its capabilities.  Here is a commercial for the UAE armed forces playing on the two UAE channels we get here in Saudi:
