Homeys: CNN, Baltimore officials, and local gangs

While working in my shed the other night, on my local Orlando radio station I caught CNN in Baltimore interviewing members of various gangs.  The tone of the interview portrayed the gang members as good guys working together for peace.

Now get this, folks: the gang members complained about police profiling and harassment.  You read correctly: freaking gang members complaining about police insensitivity.  I expected the CNN interviewer to chime in, saying, "Right on bro, I feel ya!"

One of the interviewed gang members had the nerve to express outrage over the police and MSM accusing them of looting.  He angrily said they do not need to loot because they have money – I suspect from criminal enterprises.  The gang members expect us to believe that they are honorable guys who would never stoop to looting.

Talk about the MSM's bigotry of low expectations!  Since when are gang members credible spokespersons for the black community?

Do you see the insanity of liberal mindsets dominant in the mainstream media?  CNN treated the interviewed gangs like welcome members of their coalition (liberal Democrats, gangs, and CNN).

CNN's embrace of the gangs reminded me of the old saying: "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."  As long as Baltimore gangs are contributing to furthering the narrative that blacks are victimized and police are insensitive racists, CNN is willing to give them a pass for selling drugs to black kids, black-on-black crime, and other criminal activities plaguing black neighborhoods.

Another absurdity that caught my ear was CNN praising Baltimore police for moderating their tone from the first night of riots.  An excited CNN reporter said, "I even saw a policeman smiling."  I wonder if the CNN reporter felt inspired to walk up and stick a flower in the barrel of the policeman's rifle.  Folks, CNN's "play nice with the criminals and don't make the black kids angry" expectation of police is nuts.

I could be wrong, but it appears that everyone CNN interviewed was liberal, parroting clichéd liberal excuses and failed solutions.  The vibe on CNN is that any black person on location in Baltimore daring to come on camera and speak the truth will be tarred, feathered, and run out of town.

Despite her denial, it has been revealed that the mayor of Baltimore ordered the police to stand down Monday night when the riots broke out.  The consequences of electing a liberal zealot to run their city put police officers' lives at risk and destroyed lives while giving criminals and rioters free rein.

Bottom line: the inmates are running the asylum in Baltimore, folks.  For crying out loud, the rioters caused the Orioles game to be closed to the public – the first time such a thing has happened in Major League Baseball history.

If I hear one more idiot black Baltimore politician (all Democrats) say the riots are caused by not enough federal spending, racist Republicans, and George Bush, I am going to throw a brick through my TV.  Oh, wait – I can't do that.  I love my 60-inch flat-screen.  At any rate, I will be pretty angry.

Hillary came out with her two cents about the Baltimore riots.  I envision Hillary flipping through the tattered pages of her old-school liberal pandering playbook.  Ah, here we go, right here on page 185 – Pandering to Urban Blacks.  The substance of her tired insulting speech was, I believe they are lockin' up too many of y'all coloreds and need to let y'all out!  Vote for me in 2016.  I'll send a bus for ya.

I promised myself that I would not get sucked into watching the annoying blood pressure-raising biased coverage.  Every time I think I am out, a liberal black talking head or MSM liberal operative says something infuriating that pulls me back in.

Thus, I will continue praying for divine intervention while borrowing the mantra used by George's dad on Seinfeld to calm himself down.

Serenity now!  Serenity now!
