France walks out of Iran negotiations

The negotiations in Lausanne are becoming enough of a farce that France has announced it is leaving, and will return when the talks are “useful.”  By the standards of diplomatic language, this is a full-throated proclamation that the talks are “useless.”

Of course, they always were useless, given the Obama administration’s fecklessness and unwillingness to tighten the screws on Iran.  You almost have to feel sorry for John Kerry, stuck for a reported 15 hours a day at a conference table with the Iranians.
