Rudy is on a roll.

For the second time in less than a month, he’s made a statement, however breathtakingly obvious, that no other politician in America has dared so far to say:  African-Americans commit “enormous amounts of crime” and the President “ought to be saying the kinds of stuff Bill Cosby used to say.”  Of course he had to add, re Cosby, “I hate to mention it because of what happened afterward,” and re African-Americans, “there are many, many extremely understandable reasons” why blacks commit 70% of the homicides in New York.  Still, refreshing.
