The chickens are coming home to roost and it’s our own damn fault. Stop whining. Here is Ben Shapiro of Townhall:

In other words, Obama cites the Crusades as justification for shutting Christians up because the Crusades caused all of this. If Christians had just kept their pieholes shut several thousand years ago, none of this would have happened. Obama's ignorant and bigoted gloss on Christian history isn't a throwaway line: it's the centerpiece of his philosophy. Radical Islam isn't the problem because Christianity is. And we know that Christianity is the problem because radical Islam is violent. In this skewed version of reality, modern Christianity's fantastic record is a direct outgrowth of its disreputable past.

The president is the polar opposite of his avowed mentor, pastor Jeremiah Wright, when it comes to style and manner but the mindset is the same. The U.S. deserves to be reviled: terror begets terror and the U.S. is/was a bigtime sponsor of state terrorism. Here is Rev. Wright in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001.

We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost.

Guilt mongering is the stock in trade of Jeremiah Wright. It is also the underlying meme of Critical Race Theory and community organizers.  Obama studied with Harvard’s Critical Race Theory promoter, Derrick Bell and, of course, was a community organizer in Chicago.

But Govenor Jindal isn’t buying any of it. He knew his tough line would rile the PC-heads of the left,

I knew that my comments were going to rile up people on the left. Whenever you speak honestly about the threat of radical Islamic terrorism, the politically correct crowd does not like this,

And then for the west, it’s important for officials to insist people coming into our countries assimilate and integrate. We don’t want to give people the same freedom we give to everybody and allow them to use those freedoms to undermine our freedoms. And that’s a dangerous trend. You’re seeing it in Europe, and it could happen here in America if we’re not careful.

But that wasn’t going to stop him.

It was nice of the President to give us a history lesson at the Prayer breakfast. We will be happy to keep an eye out for runaway Christians, but it would be nice if he would face the reality of the situation today. The Medieval Christian threat is under control, Mr. President. Please deal with the Radical Islamic threat today.

Handle the Islamists -- the chickens will take care of themselves.
