Chris Kyle is no Racist
Ayman Mohyeldin, a guest on the “Morning Joe” show on MSNBC, called Chris Kyle a racist. He accused him of going on a killing spree, which would be the equivalent of being a mass murderer, like Adam Lanza, at Sandy Hook. Somehow I don’t see the resemblance between murdering seven-year-olds and defending our country against Muslims who are regularly committing acts of terrorism against us.
Wake up, Moyheldin! Go to the mosque and pray for guidance. After all, Obama says that the Muslim call to prayer “is one of the prettiest sounds on Earth….” Can you imagine FDR singing “Die Wacht am Rhein” along with the Germans in the movie Casablanca?
Kyle called people who killed his friends “savages.” That has nothing to do with race unless you are so racist that you see everything through an Al Sharpton perspective. If you can’t call your enemy savages, then you are your own worst enemy -- an ambivalent weakling. Are you supposed to call members of Isis who behead your friends peaceful freedom fighters?
A soldier who doesn’t hate his enemy is the enemy. Do you think that you could watch your buddies walking around on stumps and refuse to try to snipe at the Iraqis?
Kyle is not a racist. He was simply defending his fellow soldiers. I’m sure not all of them were white. Therefore, he is also defending fellow Americans of other races and was far from a racist.
But what about Mohyeldin? Is he a traitor? It’s undeniable that he is hurting America by diminishing the accomplishments of one of our heroes.
Mohyeldin’s free speech is not free. It costs us our pride and weakens our self-image.
