Wasted Breath and Ferguson Subtext
Much of the news coverage subsequent to the no true bill result in Ferguson has amounted to litigation of the evidence, moral condemnation of the rioters (or oblique defenses of those parties), and, interspersed therewith, declarations from the usual talking heads as to what the problem really is. So far, MSM figures – even those who are nominally conservative – have failed to specify the underlying, foundational problem.
What we see in Ferguson, and elsewhere, is the progeny of the cultural Marxist (socialist) rot that continues to suffuse, with the tacit approval of taxpayers, American life.
Let us begin with the small business owners whose livelihoods have been destroyed. Remember, they “didn’t build that” – isn’t that what President Obama told us about small businesses? Thus, the small businesses were to be sacrificed, since safeguarding them with the National Guard would have meant provoking the mob. And why do that?
Small businesses, you see, are the problem, not the solution. They’re the problem – especially in places such as Ferguson – because in too many cases proprietors fail to see the “big picture.” In the big picture, small businesses, the very bulwark of private property and earned wealth, are racist precisely because private property itself is. If only the private business owners knew this, they would cede their property to the looters just as willingly as the National Guard did.
White small business owners don’t know these things, because they’re ignorant racists. Minority small business owners, of course, are sell-outs – they are, as some putrid communist such as Ward Churchill or Van Jones might say, “little Clarence Thomases.”
Since pouring trillions in printed money into urban areas hasn’t worked, Ferguson-type problems must be attributable to the fact that the money poured in was racist money. Since money, far from solving the problem of racism, has instead obviously made Ferguson-type problems worse, money itself must be racist – unless it’s clutched tightly in government’s balled up, filthy fists.
This brings us to the evidence. The evidence says Darren Wilson acted lawfully when he shot Brown dead. The talking heads prattle incessantly about the details, but only the utterly deluded think that Ferguson has anything to do with the evidence.
Complaints about the hypocrisy of ignoring black-on-black violence, double standards, flash mobs, and so forth go nowhere and will continue to go nowhere, so we should shut up about these things.
By dint of either lack of insight or sheer unwillingness to perceive the truth, certain MSM “opinion leaders” and “thinkers” have proved incapable of apprehending the fact that the people they argue with every night are not using the word “racist” in the way that sensible people do, and they’re not about to fundamentally transform their understanding.
That’s why the debates go nowhere, that’s why the evidence doesn’t matter, that’s why who your friends are doesn’t matter, and that’s why what’s in your heart doesn’t matter.
What matters is whether you are a cultural Marxist/socialist, and who controls the currently fascist police state.
The looters in Ferguson are at bottom no different than the Obama government. When Obama obeys only those laws he finds it politically expedient to obey, he loots and burns the entire country, not just Ferguson. The rot that Obama embodies uses race to harness socialist energies. Socialists, with their dour, ruthless, and humorless faces distorted into perpetual grimaces, have behaved this way since time immemorial.
Make no mistake: in historical terms, Ferguson is about private property and culture – not the evidence. We have long since passed the point where the evidence mattered in cases such as this. True, Wilson was not indicted, but Ferguson is burning, and eventually, if socialists get their way, a Wilson will be not only indicted, but convicted.
Now the battle is over not what the evidence says, but whether the evidence even matters if it’s not some socialist who is being charged.
