Joni Ernst called winner in Iowa
Fox News states that Joni Ernst has won her race in Iowa. This pushes the GOP to 51 seats in the Senate, with the opportunity for more pickups in the yet to be decided races.
There is always the possibility of Senator Manchin switching parties, as well. Given the prospect of plum committee assignments and the continuing Democrat war on coal, this is not an impossibility.
