New mother Chelsea Clinton sat down with a fawning Katie Couric and, perhaps relaxed by the flattery, revealed a bit more about her parents’ values than she may have intended. She averred that her form of rebellion against the ‘rents was working in the private sector, and “trying really hard to care about things my parents didn’t care out.”

With Hillary Clinton poised to grab the Democratic presidential nomination, and on the record that the private sector doesn’t create jobs, it is refreshing to learn from her daughter that she doesn’t care about the private sector.
