Scott Walker running behind for re-election

Sound the alarm! Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, who has battled unions and cut taxes, spurring economic growth, s running behind Democrat Mary Burke in his race for re-election. That is based on the Real Clear Politics average of polls:

If a capable and effective governor like Walker is running behind, the vision of a GOP wave in 2014 may turn out to be a fantasy.

To be sure, the margin of error here is greater than the reported lead, and two of the four polls have Walker ahead. But this is one race that should not be close.
