It's time to start calling President Obama a 'lousy manager'
Iraq is a mess. Israeli troops are moving to Gaza. The border is a mess.
Where is the President of the US? I saw Air Force One at DFW Airport on Wednesday afternoon, However, you get the feeling that the aircraft is down but the president is up in the clouds.
By any objective standard, President Obama is a managerial failure - something that Frank Burke warned us about on American Thinker 3 years ago:
"In classic management theory, Barack Obama would have to be described as an abdicative manager.
The abdicative manager evidences a tendency to flee from responsibility and is frequently encountered in situations where he or she never wanted the job in the first place (for instance, a son or daughter who inherits a company or the individual who discovers that they are incapable of adequate performance). Abdication can be exhibited in a variety of ways, ranging from physically removing oneself through travel (the confusion of movement with action), to obsessing about personal interests or a limited range of controllable subjects."
Over and over, President Obama has walked away from addressing problems, from Fast & Furious to the border crisis of today. In every one of these challenges, President Obama runs away from responsibility and hopes that the problem will go away or get fixed somehow.
It's time to start calling President Obama "a lousy manager." We've focused a lot on his liberal ideology or how he wants to transform the country. However, I'm a lot more worried about his unwillingness to manage or address problems. I'm concerned with the weakness projected at the US-Mexico border and our indifference to what's happening in Iraq.
Again, he is a lousy manager - something that many of us worried about back in 2008.
