Obama had to do something fast.  He was guilty of numerous deaths in the Veterans’ Administration hospitals.  He looked like a heartless beast as soldiers died waiting for appointments. People became fearful about the big bureaucracy of ObamaCare.

Lo and behold, what did Obama do to make up for his VA sins?  He made a trade with the Taliban to release a prisoner, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.  No matter that Bergdahl was a traitor who fled his post five years ago.  His release made Obama look compassionate.  And in exchange for Bergdahl, Obama released five Guantánamo Bay detainees, letting them loose to return to killing American soldiers.  It takes a special sort of leader to be led by the nose by a traitor.  Truly, it is inexcusable.

Bergdahl’s fellow soldiers said that he was anything but a hero.  Why didn’t Obama discuss this with them before negotiating with terrorists, and before trading Bergdahl for five killers who could return to the blood-soaked fields?

At least six soldiers died searching for Bergdahl.  Why search?  He wasn’t kidnapped.  He walked away.  He caused their deaths.  He was an enemy to his own people.  He became Obama’s misguided hero.

Obama, not caring about our troops, has angered many soldiers who served with Bergdahl in getting him freed.  Obama doesn’t know who is good and who is bad because he has no judgment about himself and his leftist ideology.

Many soldiers feel that Bergdahl should be punished, not rewarded.  He is a deserter, not a hero.  He should be court-martialed.

Bergdahl wrote to his parents, "I am ashamed to even be American [sic]. The horror of the self-righteous arrogance that they thrive in. It is all revolting."

No wonder Obama freed him.  His own wife said that she had never been proud to be an American until Obama was elected.  Obama loves people who hate America.  He is an obvious traitor.

Bergdahl goes on insulting us: "These people need help, yet what they get is the most conceited country in the world telling them that they are nothing and that they are stupid, that they have no idea how to live.”

Obama released a traitor in order to free five terrorists.  Do we have a madman as a commander in chief?  What the heck is Obama doing?  I hate to think that he is our enemy.  What else can I conclude?

 "I think the big issue here is what's going to happen to these five individuals," John McCain said.  "If they re-enter the fight, then it is going to put American lives at risk, and none of us want that to happen."

No one except Obama.  And his prideful wife.
