Having rocketed to national fame and a slim lead in the Iowa Republican primary for the Senate nomination with her hog castration TV ad, Joni Ernst has a follow-up that includes a Harley-Davidson, a leather jacket, and a gun range. This isn’t your grandfather’s Republican Party.

Breitbart notes that “Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin recently endorsed Ernst and appeared at a rally with her in Iowa a week ago.”

This is going to be an entertaining race. I am not certain the so-called World’s Greatest Deliberative Body is ready for her, or for that matter, the general electorate in Iowa. But we'll stay tuned.
