A curious incident did not happen at the White House

In the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story, Silver Blaze, the incomparable Sherlock Holmes once solved a crime and a murder by noticing what did not happen.

Gregory (Scotland Yard detective): "Is there any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"

Holmes: "To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."

Gregory: "The dog did nothing in the night-time."

Holmes: "That was the curious incident."

Several astute reporters at the April Fool's Day press conference celebrating the latest sort of Obamacare deadline also noticed a curious incident that did not happen.

Mark Knoller tweeted:

Fox News asked, "Did Obama Snub Sebelius During White House Speech"?

BuzzFeed's Evan McMorris-Santoro observed :

Will Sebelius shortly go "under the bus"? Perhaps the most transparent administration in US history and/or a Saturday Night Live sketch will keep us informed. Til then, 7,000,000 have Obamacare if government figures are to be believed; that means 45,000,000 are still uninsured.
