Man sues McDonald's over this?

This is an excellent example of why we need a “loser pays” system of tort reform, to discourage frivolous lawsuits. From the New York Daily News:

McDonald's has been hit with a supersized lawsuit.

Unhappy eater Webster Lucas reportedly wants $1.5 million from the fast-food company after he claimed the staff only gave him one napkin.

Is Lucas such an obvious slob that he needs multiple napkins? Or did Mickey D’s do something worse?

Lucas alleges the debate took a racist turn when the Mexican-American boss mumbled something about "you people" — which Lucas took to be a reference to him being black.

Mumbled? Doesn’t that mean it was unclear? Perhaps Lucas was mistaken.

In any event, this is more evidence that we need tort reform. Democrats are wedded to the lawyers, so it will require GOP control of government to enact it. Lawyers are not popular, so this is a winnign issue for Republicans.
