Has there ever been a law whose provisions are so illegally, willfully and blatantly ignored, suspended, or changed? It is a measure of the incompetence and hubris of the Obamacare architects that so much of the law has been illegally rewritten on the fly, because it simply wasn't working out as expected.

The latest outrage comes from California. Tony Lee writes in Breitbart:

'This weekend, California's Obamacare exchange extended the deadline for the first month's premium payment by another week.

The state exchange had already extended the deadline to Monday, January 6.

The underlying reason for the last minute scramble is the website chaos that prevented many people from knowing whether or not they had successfully enrolled.

Covered California announced the change via Twitter. Just like a junior high school student would announce her new boyfriend.  

This doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the people in charge of your life and death decisions.
