Despicable MSNBC racism compounded
MSNBC has disgraced itself yet again, heaping unfounded accusations of racism upon conservatives, and in the process revealing its own bigotry. The network's official Twitter account put out the following garbage:
Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new#Cheerios ad w/ biracial family. on.msnbc.com/1dPgQEU-
(@msnbc) January 30, 2014
So, with its vast knowledge of conservatives, the network has determined that conservatibves hate biracial families. This is a stunning level of what Twitchy calls "self-unwareness" conmsidering that the network's own Melissa Harris-Perry tearfully apologized recently for her program's mockery of the Romney family having as one member an African-American baby.
Twitchy has assembled a good sample of the well-deserved mockery that followed. For example:
This is from the same network that mocked Mitt Romney's family for adopting a black baby. twitter.com/msnbc/status/4...-

And
Can't wait for @MHarrisPerry to demand a retraction and apology for this Hilterific @msnbc tweet twitter.com/msnbc/status/4... #NotHoldingMyBreath-
Derek Hunter (@derekahunter) January 30, 2014
MSNBC has subsequently deleted the tweet and apologized:
Earlier, this account tweeted an offensive line about the new Cheerios ad. We deeply regret it. It does not reflect the position of msnbc.-
(@msnbc) January 30, 2014We are deleting the earlier offensive tweet. It does not reflect msnbc's position and we apologize.-
(@msnbc) January 30, 2014
But as Twitchy notes:
...what about the article that claimed there was "conservative backlash" against an earlier Cheerios ad featuring the biracial family?
No apology. The sentence was just quietly deleted from the MSNBC website
MSNBC is controlled by Comcast, a company which enjoys many local franchises to provide cable service across the United States. It is time for conservatives to start petitioning their local governemnts to not renew the franchises when they are due, unless Comcast cleans house at MSNBC. That is where they are vulnerable.
