Hunting Duck Dynasty

It was only a matter of time before the PC hunters got a clean shot at one of the Duck Dynasty clan.

The PC crowd, including most media progressives and liberals, have hated Duck Dynasty from the start. In the same way they hated Sarah Palin when she arrived on the scene, unapologetically espousing her conservative Christian views all over the airwaves.

The Robertson family has been hunted by the same pack of ruthless and relentless conservative Christian haters since Duck Dynasty started airing on A & E. And like the barrage of shots fired at Palin and her entire family, the PC hunters are bent on nothing less than total destruction of the entire outspoken Bible thumping Robertson family.

The weapon of choice for this crowd of conservative Christian haters is political correctness, camouflaged in dubious data and down-right lies. Just say or do something that crosses their PC line in the sand and prepare to get blasted with both barrels - right between the eyes.

And these PC hunters are not to be taken lightly. They can take down a conservative Christian in full stride at 500 yards with just one shot. But unlike true sportsman hunters who enjoy their harvest on the dinner table, the PC hunters' goal is not only to kill their prey, but to mutilate and destroy it beyond recognition, and if possible, wipe it off the face of the earth. And forget conservation hunting methods, that's only for rednecks and hillbillies, PC hunters would destroy every last conservative Christian on the planet in one open season if they could.

It was no surprise that the Duck Dynasty patriarch, Phil Robertson, was the first one to step into the sights of the PC hunters. Being an outspoken conservative Christian, he's not shy about sharing his faith and the gospel message. A quick Google search of Phil Robertson will lead you to numerous videos of him preaching the gospel. And boy does he preach it!

Phil has quoted scripture on several of the episodes of Duck Dynasty. But up until now, Phil obviously hadn't quoted the right scripture necessary to get the PC hunters to lock and load.

The PC hunters opened fire on Phil Robertson soon after he quoted the Apostle Paul's words from the New Testament in a GQ interview saying, "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers--they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right."

Phil's "vile and reprehensible" words actually originated directly from the pen of the Apostle Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians. You may recognize Paul as the Apostle who penned almost 70% of the Bible's New Testament, and who is also quoted more often than Jesus every Sunday morning from church pulpits all across America.

Yes, it was the Apostle Paul, not Phil Robertson, who said homosexuality was a sin, and that homosexuals would not inherit the kingdom of God.

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God."

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

In the same GQ interview piece, when Phil Robertson said, "But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical," he may as well have put a giant target on his chest, by calling homosexuality what the Apostle Paul unequivocally called it - sin.

If it's any consolation to all the PC hunters gunning for Phil Robertson for quoting the Apostle Paul, they should be happy to know that the Apostle Paul eventually got what he had coming for his vile and reprehensible words against homosexuals from the PC hunters of his day - they beheaded him.

Supporters of the Duck Dynasty clan can rest assured that Phil Robertson isn't surprised or worried about what's happening to him and his family for openly espousing their Christian faith - because he truly believes the words of Christ Himself when He said:

"You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved."

Mark 13:13
