Dick Durbin Was Right
Yep. In the weeks past, Senator Durbin was informed by the White House that someone had mentioned that he couldn't stand to look at the president anymore. The story went on that the person couldn't stand to be subject to the president's constant misdirections and false verbiage. Durbin used this in his campaign funding mailings to stir up contributions. Later Durbin learned that the White House had misinformed the senator regarding the comments, and he subsequently apologized for believing such a yarn.
Senator Durbin, no apology needed. You were just a few days early. There are now millions of people saying they have trouble watching the "toxic" president. Obama's backtracking on his remarkable and multiple inadvertent misspeakings about keeping one's insurance policy is repugnant, despicable, and unsightly. You were right, Senator Durbin: people can't stand to watch this person anymore. The number isn't just one, though. It is taking on national proportions.
Senator Max Baucus predicted that the ObamaCare Act would be a "train wreck." Of late, people are now suggesting that it is more like a "suicide attack." The implementers of the ACA are seemingly imposing all the damage they can to apparently afford themselves the luxury of rebuilding all by their own design. The arrangement of "single payer" is the suggested goal of the contrived debacle.
All of this is tough to watch, indeed. And it is far too easy to connect what could be a planned dysfunction with ideological goal-achievement. It has been proven that the system was not ready for prime time, and that authorities knew and decided to drive on the flat tires anyhow. Curious. Add in a few presidential misdirections, untruths, and prevarications, and logic would lead to the same conclusion.
Tear down, rebuild. Single payer. Indeed, tough to watch.
