De Blasio really is a 'Radical without a Clue'
When New York mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio was called a "radical without a clue," he answered that that phrase was "a right-wing tactic." De Blasio name-calls like his boss, Obama, who insults Republicans daily. They do it to not have to answer the accusations about them.
De Blasio, pretending that he is a humanitarian, went on to say that "[t]he reason I got involved in this work from the beginning was I saw inequalities, I saw unfairness." In my college years, I read books about Indian mystics who gave away all their worldly possessions to wander with the people. De Blasio and his ilk donate a few hours of their time and less than one percent of their money to try to achieve liberal nirvana. They talk more than they give.
Apparently, de Blasio thinks that he is a saint spreading fairness throughout the world. But he is a cheap and dull God. He doles out fairness as he sees fit. His opinions are omnipotent, and he sees inequalities without understanding that the inequalities are earned, not apportioned.
He wants to take from the rich and give to the poor at his whim. He thinks that the rich don't deserve what they have earned and he, in his saintly fashion, will take their stuff away from them, give them to lower-class failures, and rise to heaven as Mr. Fairness. He doesn't understand that lowly positions were often earned by mediocre work and that riches were often fairly earned by those intelligent enough to succeed.
De Blasio was married in Cuba and supported the Sandinistas in Nicaragua during the Cold War. Obama backs him because he shares his anti-American positions. Obama attended socialist meetings at Cooper Union, smoked pot, and had a Muslim father. How many times will our nation elect enemies who show evidence of sedition?
Hey, I did cocaine, marched against Vietnam, and voted for Jimmy Carter. Even though I have become a Republican, I still feel that my past disqualifies me from running America. When will our Democrat politicians take discredit for their previous (and current!) behavior?
In the old days, presidents were patriots and moral citizens. At least they tried to be or presented themselves as such. Now they are losers dressed up as nerdy, rebellious academics and community organizers. They don't even make the effort to seem patriotic.
Imagine if we elected a president sympathetic to National Socialism during World War II. Or a son whose father believed in Shinto after Pearl Harbor. Have we gone crazy, or are we just self-destructive?
If I were a Democrat, I would leave the party. I did in 2001. I had contributed thousands of dollars to Clinton's previous campaigns years. His lying about Lewinsky sickened me. His failure to accept the Sudan's surrender of Osama bin Laden was horrendous.
Clinton knows better than to support Obama, but he keeps doing it to fatten his party. He now supports ObamaCare when he refused to back Hillary's espousal of socialist medicine during his own election. Democrats constantly insult Republicans but don't admit that their love of their own party often ends up in betrayal of their country.
De Blasio is an Obama retread. He will bury New York in debt like Obama has buried America. He will inspire the liberals while he reduces their earning power. Progressive masochism will rule the day.
When will Democrats take credit for weakening the country? Do we have to wait for our failing military to be defeated in a war from behind to recognize that words are not deeds and that the Democrats speak bold words from moral bankruptcy?
De Blasio is the next in line to chip away at our solvency and power. He belongs where he was married: in Cuba, living a failed government's lower standard of living. Please let him go there before he brings Cuba here.
