A little over a month ago, three black teenagers severely beat a 13-year-old white kid on a school bus in Gulfport, Florida.  The brutal attack made national headlines.  Of course, the leftist news stations hardly mentioned it.  Turns out the victim was the wrong color -- and besides, he allegedly broke the no-snitch rule by telling an authority figure that one of the criminals had tried to sell him some weed.

Now we have the father of one of the thugs involved in what should be classified as attempted murder -- yes, attempted murder -- showing up at the court hearing saying his son's not to blame.  Julian McKnight's apology amounts to "just leave my kid alone; he's been through enough."

As the trio headed to court on Tuesday, Julian McKnight said his son Julian, 15, has also suffered in the aftermath of the July 9 attack on a Pinellas County school bus after it left Lealman Intermediate School in the St. Petersburg-area community of Gulfport.

"All I can say is that he had his consequences already, you know?" McKnight said. "This is life. I am sorry what happened to the victim. It's just the way it is. My son ain't never been no bad person, he just got mixed [up] with bad people, that's all ... He's sorry."

On top of Daddy McKnight's lack of empathy for the victim, the Gulfport police chief said the incident did not appear to be racially motivated.  So it's not a hate crime.  Doesn't it require hate to violently attack someone?

All hate crime legislation does is create a protected class.  We all know that if it had been three white kids pummeling a black kid, it would be called a hate crime.

Shouldn't  responsible citizens stop enabling this nonsense?  All this pent-up rage in the black community is an epidemic, a word the far left loves to use when it comes to pushing their agenda.  Whites make up 77% of the nation per the Census.  Meanwhile, blacks make up 12.5%, and yet out of over 11,000 murders, 6,500 were blacks and 5,800 were whites.

Despite the stats and the now-well-documented collapse of the black family as the major reason for the violence, Obama actually issued an executive order in 2012 prohibiting black students from receiving disciplinary action for bad behavior in school.

The president essentially told teachers, administrators, and principals to coddle the little gangsta wannabes.  Yes, the same ones killing each other on the streets.

What's next?  Will the president hold a press conference proclaiming if he had sons they'd look like Lloyd Khemradj, Julian McKnight, and Joshua Reddin -- the teens who were out for blood on July 9?  No wonder Mr. McKnight is acting as if it's his son who's the real victim.

Then there's the racist slander that rains down from the mainstream media on anyone who dares to hold these hooligans and their blood relations accountable.  When former Congressman Allen West called out the race-hustlers for their hypocrisy in not speaking out against the black-on-white crime like they did for Trayvon Martin, Jesse Jackson said the two cases are not comparable.  He went on to cite cases in Oakland and New York where black men were killed by police, security guards, and vigilantes.

Jackson, like his depraved millionaire cohorts in the race business, keeps the blood flowing in black neighborhoods with this "'my people' suffered so don't come talkin' to me about no white boy" line.  Like Sharpton, Obama, and Holder, why should Jackson care?  He's worth over 5 million USD.

We can only hope that good blacks will throw them all under the bus.  Too many ignorant followers with no role models and no stable homes still buy into the idea that they are entitled to revenge against whitey.
