As the 2014 implementation of ObamaCare fast approaches, federally funded Planned Parenthood is kicking into high gear to promote it.

This includes using its 750-plus facilities around the country to make sure the low-income and emotionally vulnerable women who come into Planned Parenthood leave knowing how to get all the benefits they can from ObamaCare.

To accomplish this, Planned Parenthood is "creating everything from refrigerator magnets to online apps that help people enroll in [ObamaCare]."  Some of Planned Parenthood's abortion facilities are even applying to become government-funded "navigators," the job of which is to walk people through the process of signing up for ObamaCare once it takes effect.

In this way, Planned Parenthood will be a tutor for the Obama administration -- pointing women in the way it thinks they should go.

The audacity of Planned Parenthood on this particular issue is even clearer when you consider that it doesn't do many of the things that real doctors do -- in other words, it is better known for the nearly 350,000 lives it ends each year than are doctors for the lives they save.

Consider this -- although Planned Parenthood presents itself as a women's health care provider, it doesn't provide full health care (if you have asthma, you'll need to go somewhere else); it doesn't provide post-abortion medical support for complications (in most cases); and they can't do mammograms.

Members of Congress are already noticing there's something wrong with this picture.  Planned Parenthood receives over $500,000,000 in federal funding each year, and now it appears to be little more than a lap dog for those who are signing over the checks -- i.e., Obama's corporate shill.

As Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) has pointed out:

Planned Parenthood is among the long list of liberal organizations that are expected to receive tax-payer funded navigator grants. These grants would further enable Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in America, to continue its misuse of taxpayer dollars to [supplement] their big abortion business.

And because abortions are covered under ObamaCare, every woman of childbearing age whom Planned Parenthood signs up will soon learn that the government will now pay for her abortions.

It's a windfall for the government and the abortionist at the expense of taxpayers and pre-born children.  That is a tragedy that we must continue to fight.
