Looks like NYC ran out of heroes to name parks after. Mike Vilensky of the WSJ blogs:
Palmetto Playground, a triangular park adjacent to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway in Brooklyn Heights, was renamed Friday for Adam Yauch, the late Beastie Boys member and Brooklyn native who spent time there as child.
