ObamaCare: Welcome to the 19th Century
Sunday's Kansas City Star features a trenchant column by E. Thomas McClanahan on the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act, aka ObamaCare: "An industrial-era monstrosity, forced on a digital age." McClanahan looks at the various adjustments Americans are making to deal with the monstrosity, including a move by companies to be "self-insured." (McClanahan uses the term "self-funded," but I phoned him to verify that the two terms are equivalent.) Read this perceptive column on the train wreck headed for you.
