Lazy, Shiftless... Democrat
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell on NBC's "Meet the Press" with David Gregory stated that "When I see another former Governor, after the President's first debate when he didn't do very well, says that the President was 'lazy' -- he didn't say he was slow, he was tired, he didn't do well -- he said he was lazy. Now that may not mean anything to most Americans, but to those of us who are African-Americans the second word was 'shiftless' and then there's a third word after that."
Perhaps Colin Powell needs to hear Barack Hussein Obama admitting that "there is a deep down, underneath all the work I do, I think there's a laziness in me. It's probably from, you know, growing up in Hawaii, and it's sunny outside and sitting on the beach."
Furthermore, when Obama called America "a little bit lazy" what are we to make of this use of the word? Did that include people of all melanin levels or only the pale ones?
Powell's assessment is "something mean and shallow that is only masquerading as political analysis" and it is covering up a presidential record of lies and harm to this country.
Where does this racial rage come from? At what point do we get past this? Is every comment that does not end in a fawning compliment about this president now on the censored list? Beware of the words in this list that have now been consigned to exhibiting racism. They include "Black Clouds," "Black Friday," "Calling President Obama a 'Professor,'" "Chicago," "Colorblind Societies," "Community organizer" "Food Stamp President" and finally "Any Political Opposition to President Obama."
When will this lunacy end?
Shame on Powell who is pandering to the lowest common denominator.
