In a demonstration supportive of President Morsi's recent power-grabbing executive decree, Al Masry Al Youm is reporting that students at Sunni Islam's millennial old de facto Vatican for Islamic religious education, Al-Azhar University,

...demanded the cleansing of the judiciary, the Interior Ministry and the media, and chanted "Egypt is an Islamic state," while some university professors joined them.

The Al Masry Al Youm  report also notes that subsequent to Morsi's declaration last Thursday (11/22/12), thousands of Sharia-supremacist, traditionalist Muslims, primarily Muslim Brotherhood/ "Freedom and Justice Party" members, have taken to the streets to demonstrate their support for the Egyptian President's decree.
