When political ideology trumps national security
In the case of the Obama administration's Internet video narrative that was offered as the cause of the 9/11 Benghazi terrorist attack that killed our American ambassador and three other brave Americans, there is no more authoritative response than the answer given during the Congressional hearing by Utah Army Commander Lt. Col. Andrew Wood.
When asked by Idaho Congressman Raul Labrador,
"Given the information that you saw on TV and your knowledge of the situation in Libya, did you come to a conclusion as to whether this was a terrorist act or whether it was based on some film that was on the Internet?"
Lt. Col. Wood answered,
"It was instantly recognizable to me as a terrorist attack."
Rep. Labrador interrupted and asked,
"And why is that?"
Lt. Col. Wood replied,
"Mainly because of my prior knowledge there, I almost expected the attack to come. We were the last flag flying; it was a matter of time."
When President Obama chose political ideology over national security, Americans died.
Is it just a matter of time before the flag of freedom and justice stops flying over this great nation, or will Americans finally stand up to hold accountable and bring to justice those who put their political ideology above the lives of four Americans who chose to serve their country?
