Compare and contrast
Barack Obama and Paul Ryan both drove unusual vehicles during their teen years. The old saying goes, "As the twig is bent, so grows the tree." Perhaps there is something to be learned from teenage vehicle exotica. The great Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit points out the contrast between the Wienermobile (a promotional car shaped like a hot dog and bun, driven by young Paul Ryan to make money, because his father had died and left the family in need of money):
and the Choom Wagon (Barry popularized the concept of "roof hits": when they were chooming in the car all the windows had to be rolled up so no smoke blew out and went to waste; when the pot was gone, they tilted their heads back and sucked in the last bit of smoke from the ceiling. via Buzz Feed.)
Evidently, money was not so much of a problem for young Barry.
