Spot the racist
Various politicians, such as Congresswoman Maxine Waters, have called the Trayvon Martin shooting a hate crime. (As a matter of fact, numerous politicians and members of the media have garnered publicity by portraying the tragedy as an example of the racism that pervades America.)
The FBI has interviewed dozens of people who know the shooter, George Zimmerman. Not one of the interview subjects pinned the racist label on him. Even the lead local police investigator stated that Zimmerman pursued Martin based on his attire and not his race.
The world has been turned on its head. George Zimmerman does not see people through the prism of race while many of his accusers do. We have struck the mother lode of irony.
